Spice Up Your Sunday Roast with my Spicy Roast Chicken



I love this spicy roast chicken it is so easy to do.  MR R and I have the breast on the Sunday and then make spicy chicken rolls for tea the next day.


You Will Need:
1.5kg (3lb) Chicken          2 teaspoons garlic puree          2 teaspoons ginger paste          1 ½ tablespoons curry powder          1 teaspoon Paprika         2 teaspoons salt         ½ teaspoon black pepper          1 teaspoon garam masala          2 teaspoons lemon juice          2 teaspoons soy sauce          2 tablespoons oil        little warm water
  


Wash the chicken and dry. Combine all the ingredients with the warm water to make a paste.  

Rub all over and inside the chicken, I also put some under the skin too.  Leave to marinate for about an hour.  

Roast in pre heated oven 170 oc (350 F) Gas 4  for 1/1 ¼ hrs  If the chicken I browning too quickly then cover with some foil.
