Out of the many beaches I have visited around the world, Palolem
Beach has to be in my top ten beach resorts, and number one of places to visit
in Goa.
Set in a bay, beach shacks and bamboo huts discreetly hidden
away between the palms trees, which stretch from one end of the bay to the
other.
With no beach or fruit sellers, just the relaxing sound of
the blue sea lapping up on the white pristine sand, Palolem is the perfect
destination for an R&R holiday.
Bamboo huts are the only way to live this amazing beach
holiday, catering for all purses you can have the luxury of wooden huts with
A/C, hot water shower and T.V to cheap and cheerful with a fan and cold-water
shower.
In the morning, the only way to start you day before the sun
breaks through is to take a walk around the bay, stopping to watch the
fishermen returning from a night’s fishing.
Or, simply enjoy the peace and the rising of the sun.
When the heat is too much for you, take a walk through the maze of palm trees and sandy tracks to reach the main street.
Here you will find the usual shops selling holiday crap, and
a good assortment of bars and restaurants, cafes, juice bars and general
stores.
Walk a little further and open your eyes to see things you
would never expect to see.
Electricity men connecting a new wire.
Monkeys coming from the nearby jungle to steal berries.
A tree that produces the filling for your pillows.
Look out for more posts and reviews on Palolem Beach.
