Cheap, easy and hassle free on Kuala Lumpur’s metro system.

Of course the best way to sightsee in the city is on foot. However, if you are not up for walking then KL’s efficient light rail transit, commuter rail, and monorail systems will get you to around the most part of Kuala Lumpur.

Fares starting at RM1/£0.18p/Rupees 17/€0.20/$0.25/₴6.70/₽15.74 per person for a single journey.

KL Monorail runs from 06:00-24:00 Trains run every 12 minutes in off peak times. Fares starting at RM1.20/£0.22/Rupees 20/€0.30/$0.25/₴8.04/₽18.90 per person for a single journey.

HOW TO PAY: It is very easy. There are token machines at the entrance to all the stations. The dispensing machines are operated by a touch screen, with easy to follow directions. They also give change. If you have any problems there is always an attendant in a kiosk who are more than willing to help. (All staff speak English)

You can also get a map at any station kiosk, to help plan your routes.
